Connect with Santa safely this Christmas!
To the great relief of children everywhere, Santa Claus has been designated an essential worker and Christmas 2020 will go on as scheduled! We’ll all need to work together to keep Santa healthy for the big day, though. Ol’ St. Nick will be taking COVID precautions this year since he does have a couple of risk factors to consider.
While he may still be appearing in socially-distant settings in some areas, many families will be looking for other ways of how to call Santa this year. Thankfully, the North Pole has excellent WiFi and there are several virtual alternatives to traditional Santa visits this year!
Here are 6 ways your family can interact with Santa from home this year:
1. Enjoy a FREE virtual visit to Macy’s Santaland.
From Friday, November 27 through Thursday, December 24, Macy’s Santaland at Home will be available online seven days a week. Up to three children can participate in this interactive, virtual experience at one time, and reservations are not needed.
Each visit includes a chance to share your wishlist with Santa and take a selfie with him. Head on over here to learn more!
2. Sam’s Club members can book a FREE video chat with Santa.
If you’re a Sam’s Club member with a photo account, you can schedule a free online visit with Santa through the Sam’s Club website. You’ll get to choose the date, the time, and the Santa that best suits your family. You can also provide your child’s name and age before the session to help Santa get the conversation started.
Note that only one Santa session per family is allowed, so if you’re scheduling for more than one child you’ll want to include all of their names when you reserve your time slot.
3. Get a FREE personalized phone call or video from Santa.
PackageFromSanta.com is a paid Santa Letter & Package delivery service that sends an authentic North Pole package directly to your child. This service also offers a couple of free options, including a FREE personalized phone message from Santa when you download the app.
You can also customize a FREE personalized video message for your child from Santa. This video will be ready in about an hour for you to download and watch up to three times.
4. Schedule a JingleRing.
JingleRing is a paid service you can use to schedule a live video call with Santa. Packages start at $24.95 and families can customize Santa’s ethnicity, his language (including ASL), and his faith.
JingleRing’s Santa visits average 10-20 minutes in length, but you can upgrade your session to include storytime or an appearance from Mrs. Claus for an extra charge. The price of any Jingle Ring package also includes a video recording and a photo from your call.

5. Book a Zoom meeting with Santa though Live Calls With Santa.
Live Calls With Santa is a paid service that you can use to book a live Zoom call with Santa. You can customize your experience so that Santa will greet your child by name and talks to them about their interests.
Base packages start at $19.95 and include a live 5-minute video chat with Santa from his workshop at the North Pole. You can upgrade your package to include a video recording of your chat, a fully edited highlight reel, and more.
6. Write Santa a letter.
This time-tested tradition has been the most popular method of contacting Santa for generations, and it’s still a COVID-safe and totally FREE activity that you can do from home. Download our FREE North Pole letterhead and make sure your child gets a reply from Santa!
Simplify your family’s Christmas with this meaningful idea!
